Privacy Policy

1. About This Policy

ListingBlast.ca (“ListingBlast”, “we” or “us”) sends real estate professionals’ listing campaigns to other real estate professionals. This Policy explains how we handle personal information about Users (licensees who buy credits and submit campaigns), Recipients (agents on the recipient list we maintain) and Visitors to our website. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

2. What We Collect

• Users: name, email, phone, brokerage name and address, licence details, campaign content and target areas, purchase records, and a record of the Terms version you accepted. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your full card number. We also forward messages sent to your listingblast.ca address to your own email.
• Recipients: name, business email, brokerage name and address, where the email address was published, unsubscribe requests, and whether campaigns are opened or clicked (through tracking images and links).
• Visitors: IP address, browser, pages viewed and similar technical data, through server logs and cookies, plus anything you send us.

3. How We Use It

We use personal information to process purchases, prepare and send campaigns to the areas Users choose, forward replies, honour unsubscribes, report campaign results, keep CASL compliance and tax records, run and secure our website, send Users occasional news about our services (you can opt out anytime), and meet legal obligations.

4. Consent

Users consent by accepting our Terms of Service. Recipients are on our list because their business email address was publicly published, without a “no unsolicited email” statement, and our campaigns relate to their work as real estate professionals. Every campaign identifies ListingBlast and the sending agent and includes an unsubscribe link.

5. Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we never give Recipients’ email addresses to Users. We share information only:

• in campaigns, where a User’s name and contact details are shown to Recipients;
• with service providers who process payments, send and forward email, host our site and provide analytics, some of whom store data outside Canada, including in the United States;
• where required by law or a regulator, or to respond to a claim that a campaign is unlawful; and
• with a buyer or successor if our business is sold or restructured.

We never use Users’ information for our own real estate business or share it with anyone for theirs.

6. Retention and Security

We keep campaign content and images for 12 months after a User’s last campaign, tax records as long as the law requires, and unsubscribe records for as long as we operate so we can keep honouring them. We protect information with encrypted connections and restricted access, and will notify affected people and regulators of a serious breach as required by law.

7. Your Choices and Rights

Recipients can unsubscribe from all campaigns using the link in any email or at optout.listingblast.ca; requests are processed within 10 business days. Anyone can ask to access, correct or delete their information by emailing help@listingblast.ca; we respond within 30 days.

8. Changes and Contact

We may update this Policy by posting a new version with a new effective date, and will email Users with unused credits about material changes. Questions: help@listingblast.ca.
